Good afternoon Dear teachers and my fellow classmates, I really appreciate having this opportunity to introce myself. I』 /////from …… school of classXXX. I』ve been paying attention to the Outlook English for many years and I am very interested in it For me, learning English is considered an enjoyment. At first, I have not participated in any oral competition before and I hesitated. I thought it was a hard thing to do in the past but I now believed that I should have a try. My teachers and friends have also given me the courage and I』ve become more confident through the process and that』s why I』m standing here. Everybody should have the courage to catch the chance and hold on to the given opportunity. If we didn』t try , how can we be near our goals? I believe we can all achieve our goals if we continue to take a step forward.
Just like when I』m learning English, the courage of facing the difficulties and my goal motivated me to move forward. Just as the old saying goes, 「the one who you must defeat is you yourself」, not only did I attained experiences and confidence throughout the process, I am also willing to learn that in order to improve, I had to defeat myself.

In my spare time, I like to read novels. I think reading could enlargemy knowledge. As for novels, I could imagine whatever I like such as a well-known scientist or a kung-fu master. In addition to reading, I also like to play PC games. A lot of grownups think playing PC games hinders the students from learning. 重要公告：大賽復賽詳細流程
2007年度CCTV迎奧運希望之星英語風采大賽武漢賽區復賽定於4月21日、22日在武漢市二十五中舉行，復賽選手將接受考官面對面的測試。
大賽復賽詳細流程如下：
小學組、初中組復賽共有三個環節：
一、 自我展示：選手可以用英語自我介紹、英語演講、英語講故事等。（本環節1分鍾至1分半鍾）
二、 考官提問：考官就選手「自我展示」的內容，向選手提問。（本環節30秒至1分鍾）
三、 現場作答：選手抽出一個現場作答題，選手要用英語來答題，本環節考察選手即時反映能力。（本環節2－3分鍾）
高中組、大學成人組復賽共有三個環節：
三名選手一起進入考場，現場抽簽決賽發言順序。
一、 自我介紹：用英語向考官作個自我介紹（本環節每人一分鍾）。
二、 微型演講：內容不限（本環節每人兩分鍾）。
三、 共同辯論：考官給出一個辯題，三名選手現場討論、共同發言。考官根據每名選手的表現打分。（本環節共六分鍾）
（請各選手務必提前三十分鍾到達考場登記、備考。）
大賽復賽評判標准
評判標准：滿分100分，取3考官平均分。
內容 （15分）: 內容充實、結構清晰、完整、有新意
語音語調（15分）: 發音正確、清楚、表達自然
流暢性（15分）: 表達流暢、語速適中
詞彙和語法（15分）: 用詞恰當、無語法錯誤
風度（15分）: 表現力強，有一定的台風並能有生動的肢體語言
交流能力（15分）: 反應敏捷、正確，能夠恰當地與他人溝通
整體表現（10分）
