你是什麼專業的？去哪裡留學？
如果本科不是英語，想要在主要語內言不是英語的國和別人容流暢交流的話，有有道電子詞典就夠了，在母語是英文的國家中和別人流暢交流就買一本牛津高階，但一定要有電子詞典。（電子詞典要裝有專業讀音，近義詞和造句的那種）如果本科是英語，無論在哪種國家，英英牛津高階和中英電子詞典一定要有，如果經濟允許建議買卡西歐的電子詞典，比較專業。如果留學還要在那裡面試什麼的，也不用買太多詞典，以上就可以了，主要是在於運用，詞彙很重要，但一定要會運用。
關於書籍，朗文書蟲的建議去看，這個系列的書有很多，高中大學的都可以看，中英文對照，要提高自己的水平也可以看看，對於裡面有些什麼書，我先給你推薦幾本，比如書蟲系列的《牙齒與爪子》（還是《爪子與牙齒》我記不清對了）、《化身博士》、《曾達的囚徒》、《多里安·格雷的畫像》朗文系列還有很多其他的，我都沒看過，自己去查吧。

你好，我的一個朋友就在外企做助理和翻譯。
她經朋友引薦的，這個問題不大。見經理時，經理給她一些資料和電腦，讓她3小時內翻完，即可錄取。由於是做汽車部件的企業，所以有很多汽車上的專業詞彙，所以肯定要查詞典。她的英文是不錯的，什麼樣的句式文法都行，但你要知道，英語只是技術，不是知識。在企業，很少有記敘文抒情文這些玩意等你，有的都是說明文，公文，所以，句法不要求很多，術語、機構名稱之類的蠻重要。慢慢積累吧。筆譯就是要查的。當然你要和人家先說，你有些術語不清楚，要查，以後熟悉了會好。人家才不管你查不查呢，最後翻譯的及時又好就行。至於口譯，是另外一回事。
